68: Quarantined 5 with AJ Flores



The View From Pluto: The Baseball Hall of Fame's Hits And Misses ...

Ack and Kiz still aren’t able to meet in person, but the streak of guests continues with AJ Flores joining the program. The topics go from very specific to us (Bullets heroics and playing for Mike Lauterhahn) to some broader interest things (choosing/playing D3, Independent baseball, and the progression of youth/AAU baseball). The baseball/entire world is standing still for the Corona Virus, but never fear. Ack and Kiz have come to the rescue with some baseball content to keep the people sane. They are joined by fellow Stevens Duck alum and current coach Jayson Yano to discuss his background as a California HS player crossing the country to play D3 college ball in NJ, a few of the notable players he played alongside, and his Angels fandom. After getting into Baseball Aesthetics for a bit, they go deeper into coaching with the some of their methods and philosophies. 63: Scandal

With the punishments for the Astros being handed out in the Houston Astros sign stealing scandal, Ack and Kiz get together with old friend Matt Ack to discuss the fallout out from this scandal and how it compares to a few scandals from baseball history. 62: Hot Stove Season

After an agonizingly long layoff, the public clamoring for the return of Pop Flies and Grounders paid off! Ack and Kiz return with the 62nd installment in the series and discuss all the things that happened since they last convened. The Nats winning the World Series, the Astros scandal, and most importantly…an active Hot Stove Season! 61: Remembering 9/11

The trade deadline has passed and there are no more deals to be made.
